RESTORZ IT: Infomercial Review

Three things I hate about the new infomercial for a product called Restorz It:

1) I hate the name. In fact, I hate ANY brand name that deliberately misspells a normal word just so they have a “cute” name. It's “doughnut,” damn it, not “donut!” And this should be called “Restores It.” Although—even that is not much of an improvement.

2) I hate the fact that the commercial is set in a junkyard. Yeah, I get the point: You can fix up even an old junker, with Restorz It, so that it looks brand new. But once your junkyard car looks good, what good is it going to be if you can't drive it out of the trash?

3) I hate the annoying announcer's voice. But then, I hate most infomercial announcers' voices.

Having said that, here are three things I LOVE about Restorz It itself:

1) This stuff really works! It's one of those rare products that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and in fact, does it better than I'd expected. Just spray some Restorz It onto your old junker and rub it in. Within minutes, you can restore the luster, look and shine that you probably thought was gone forever from the car.

2) In addition to bringing back the new look of your car, it also removes all surface contamination from the vehicle. That means that things which might in the future cause damage will be gone.

3) I love the price. At $19.95, this thing gives me back a like-new car for the cost of McDonalds for me, my wife and son.

So the commercial is bad; big deal! Restorz It itself is a great product that you'll be glad you bought.
