Principal Secret Reclaim Infomercial Review

Principal Secret Reclaim: Infomercial Review

Okay get out your calculators, your pens and papers, because I'm going to run through the numbers you need to understand in order to make sense of the new "Principal Secret Reclaim" infomercial.

It seems that if you're a woman who worries about those nasty little lines and wrinkles in your skin, you should feel quite content to shell out $342 for skin-care products to make you look young again. Except you're not going to have to pay that much. Take off $74 to get the price of the products in the Principal Secret Reclaim....a much more affordable $218. Except that's not quite it either, because Victoria Principal, goddess that she is, only sells the items together, not separately, which takes off another 128.05 to make it a grand total of $89.95 you're paying for her $218 version of the original $342 package.

Confused? Me too.

"But wait, there's more!" (Of course...there always is). If you "order now" (and we'll define "now" as whenever you watch the video), and Vicky takes off another $60, to bring it down to $29.95 (She explains that this is her way of being nice because of the current recession). But if you'll make "now" even "now-ier," then she's gonna give it to you for just $19.95 ..but only if you call within 20 minutes of...now...or whenever you watch the video.

What a saint that Vicky is. Oh and there are $38 worth of gifts she's giving for free, meaning she's basically going in the hole just because she likes you. What more can you expect from the lady who brought "argirilene" to the U.S. Don't know what that is? Me, either, but she mentions it a few times in her commercial, so it must be important. She even says that her night cream has twice as much argirilene, for a "double dose of wrinkle fighting action."

Does that mean if we quadruple the argirilene, I could look 12 (I'm 40 now)?

Oh that's right, I'm a guy. But I'll give it to Vicky: if all those 60 year old ladies in her commercial really use Reclaim...then Yowza, send over the cream and the 60-year-olds!

  1. I could not stop laughing reading this one, as it really captured the whole crazy, mad, over-the-top quality of these commercials. Makes you wonder just how cheap the ingredients really are that they are putting in those packages!

  2. I used the Reclaim with Argireline Total Facial Cleanser. It says that it has a toner in it. Which is the number one step women skip in a daily cleansing routine. Sure, everyone skips the twice weekly masking of the skin for optimal retexturizing of the skin and youthful appearance. Nice information.
